I love Iris! They are beautiful flowers and seem to be quite tolerant of our mid-West weather extremes. They come in variety of colors, however I think my personal favorite are the royal purple. Every few years, as the plantings get larger, I split them and either transplant to another area of my garden or share with friends and relatives. I have several plantings in my garden which were originally from my grandmother’s garden. Even though she is long gone, her memory is alive in my garden and I think of her every time these beautiful flowers blossom! Start some lasting memories of your own!
