Hello!
Not long ago Plumbers tore up my back yard. When they did they brought up a lot of sandy, clayish soil. I have plans for a beautiful flower garden, and I'm afraid they've ruined the soil! My soil is just awful! Is there any products that you can send me I can spread around the yard, that may help things to grow in it again please? Would you recommend I just fill it all with new top soil?

Good morning!

In this situation, we would really suggest that you have a soil sample taken and sent into a soil analysis lab, as they will tell you what may be missing from the soil.  You may also explain to them that you are looking to start a flower garden in this area.  They may suggest topsoil or for you to introduce soil amendments or minerals into the area.

Wishing you luck on your new flower garden!

Sarah
