Do you have moss, bare spots, or excessive weeds in your grass? Your soil may be too acidic!! Grass likes soil that has a neutral pH, and lime contains calcium which is nature’s “neutralizer” for acid soil. The trouble with most conventional lime products is that they are not absorbed quickly into the soil. That means a lot of it will run off when watered before it gets a chance to do its job. That’s where ENCAP'S Fast Acting Lime is superior to other products:

Why do I need to use Lime?
Low pH causes moss, bare spots and weeds to grow in your grass. Lime helps to balance soil pH, significantly reducing these problems, creating a better soil environment for your lawn. Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™ contains Advanced Soil Technology™ (AST™). AST™ is a highly researched, patented control agent that holds calcium from lime in place. AST™ is included in every granule of Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™. University testing has shown that Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™ goes to work the instant it is exposed to water.

When to apply
Use Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™ in the spring, summer or fall every year to help correct acidic soils and maintain a balanced pH. For improved accuracy, use a soil tester to determine your pH and then follow the application guidelines listed to treat your lawn accordingly.

Where to use
Use Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™ anywhere that you have signs of low pH (moss, bare spots, etc.). Most common grasses require a soil pH of 6.8 to 7.2 to flourish. You can use Fast Acting Lime Plus AST™ anywhere in your lawn and gardens.
